Raised in Cork City, Mark initially trained with the Montfort Stage School before going on to gain a degree in theatre studies from Stephens College in the United States.
 

Mark has worked extensively in theatre in the UK, USA, across Europe and of course here in Ireland. Some of his favourite roles have included Jack and the Wolf in “Into The Woods” (USA), The Inspector in “The Mousetrap” (European Tour), Mr. Sowerberry in “Oliver” (Cork Opera House/Helix), Gary in “I Love You You're Perfect Now Change" (CAT Club/Half Moon Theatre), and most recently as Tony in “Wet Paint” (Granary/Everyman Theatre).
 

In a varied career Mark has been lucky enough to play Principal Boy in pantomimes for the Cork Opera House and then go on to play The Dame for the Opera House and also for the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin.

Mark is delighted to be working for the first time for the Cork Repertory Company.
