Máirín is a veteran of the Cork stage and has appeared and directed numerous productions down through the years. Most recently Máirín was seen in "The Sunbeam Girls" at the Cork Opera House and "Men Should Weep" at the Cork Arts Theatre, both directed by Marion Wyatt.

For Skylight Productions she directed and adapted "Dracula" at the Firkin Crane, directed "The Dresser" at the Everyman Theatre, directed "Wait Until Dark" at the Cork Arts Theatre and also directed "A Celebration of Synge" at the Half Moon Theatre.

Other acting credits include Beckett’s "Footfalls" and "Rockaby" at the Granary Theatre. She also appeared in Corcadorca’s work in development "Now And In The Hour of Our Debt".
