Jamie is a young up and coming lighting designer based in Cork City. He began working in theatre at 16 and operated lights for the Everyman Palace production “The Green Fool” by Patrick Kavanagh.

Jamie then began working full time in the Firkin Crane Theatre and has worked on many productions operating lighting and visuals for many productions including "In Motion" and "Alice in Wonderland" by Cork School of Dance. He also worked on productions by Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance, The Performers Academy and Crux Dance Company. Since 2010 he has begun focusing on lighting design.
 

Jamie studied Theatre Production and Design at Colaiste Stiofain Naofa. While there he designed the lighting for the college’s production of “Shakespeare As We Like Him” and the critically acclaimed production “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot” both directed by Marion Wyatt.

He was lighting designer for the Cork Rep's most recent production "Over The Pub" directed by Dolores Mannion.
